Nice photo from the event I helped with on Saturday. It was a lot of fun, pretty hot, I was shattered by the end, but it all went really well!
We had a bout 20 cars plus 8 pretty varied music performances.

Music and Motors a small car and music event that I have helped organise for about a decade now! The weather forecast is looking good, we have good mix of cars; mire Americana than usual, and eclectic mix of music performers! Also a Pimms (other drinks too) stall so no one need to dehydrate!

For any folks in and around Ware in Hertfordshire I help organise this small car and music event in the centre of town.
It the afternoon of Saturday 19th August free entry, it's in a public space, all welcome.

These stripes represent the average temperature in Ireland from 1950 to 2022, with blue colours showing colder years & red colours for hotter.!

In my occasional series of photos that is A View from A Bridge here are the first Cygnets I have seen this year.

Assuming it's the same pair these Swans were very successful last year, managing to raise six Cygnets successfully.
Also does anyone know what happens to young Swans as they just seem to disappear, I assume they move away to university or something.

Back in the late 70's my mum had a Triumph Vitesse very like this one. Possibly not in as good condition, but the teenage me loved that car.
This one was at a small classic car event I hell organise in the town I live in.

Today I was out early for the first time since before Christmas and was able to catch some interesting colours as the sun rose behind the low ridge beyond the marshes.
Some upside to being back at work it turns out.
