Bruno gifts a WashPost article on this Nature paper nature.com/articles/s41586-022 and several others like it (includes URLs!) dealing with the vanishing of ancient civilisations in correlation with changes in climate or weather. The collapse in the around 1200BC might have been triggered by 3 consecutive years of such deep droughts that (wheat) harvest loss must ve been 100% 3 years in a row. The capital was abandoned. The 500 year long reign over ended abruptly.

However. Not all died in Anatolia. And survivors knew survival stuff necessary to continue communities on smaller scales not requiring as much surplus agricultural production. They still had smiths and tool makers, knew how to spin yarn, how to sow and what fruits and mushrooms to gather.
All sorts of things we in G-North know nothing of anymore.
Also, their environment wasn't polluted from abandoned
industry and nuclear power plants.
gg Good night y'all.😁
