Acabo d'adonar-me que #Hetzner ha decidit cancel·lar el contracte que tinc amb ells, per aquesta raó no funciona lemmy.cat.

No ho entenc, estic buscant una solució.

Migrating servers over a 20Mbit/s uplink feels a bit like #dialup.

Atm most of my homelab infra ran on #Proxmox at my parent's place. But since I don´t have the space (yet) at home. I temporary ordered a dedicated server at #Hetzner that also runs Proxmox for my homelab needs.

The NAS that I've previously used to store the VM disks on it will now run #Unraid with Proxmox backup Server as a VM as the backup solution for the VM's that are now running on the Hetzner server.

Currently #Hetzner Cloud does not natively support #CoreOS (yet?).

So I created this #Packer template which lets you create an image. It even supports Ignition config via user data and automatic SSH public key and hostname configuration!

Na twee dagen eindelijk antwoord van #Hetzner. Kort en krachtig zeg maar.

"Dear Mr Bootsman,

Please sign up again and do NOT use a VPN/proxy during registration."

Nou, als ik een VPN wil gebruiken voor extra veiligheid, dan doe ik dat dus. En dat ga ik dus niet uitzetten voor Hetzner.

Inmiddels #Icedrive aangeslingerd en de sync loopt inmiddels. Dus, overstap gelukt. Stack van TransIP kan opgezegd worden, die loopt tot 4 september, en de sync zal dan wel klaar zijn :)

@alberich #nextcloud wäre ein guter Anfang, dazu die App "Gestion" mal anschauen. Gibt es auch gehostet, z. B. bei #hetzner.

Kann es sein dass @Hetzner_Online auf einer viel verwendeten Blockliste steht? Habe schon einige Seiten auf die ich nicht mehr komme über meinen VPS mit Wireguard VPN bei @Hetzner_Online
Ist mir noch nicht solange aufgefallen. Linuxnews.de hat auch darüber geschrieben dass er grosse Hoster blockt weil viele Angriffe daraus kommen. Fühl mich schon fast wie .ru #blacklist #VPN #hetzner

Meh. Die #Hetzner Storage Shares sind zwar via #IPv6 erreichbar, outbound geht aber scheinbar weiterhin nur #IPv4.

The new dedicated vCPU plans from #Hetzner sure look appealing. I'm still mainly on shared vCPU instances there now.

Seems like #hetzner lowered the prices for their cloud servers with dedicated vCPU and increased the traffic limit for the bigger ones. Not sure why they claim they were new products though. Marketing BS?

@djuber Thanks for the insight. I have been monitoring my #mailinabox server closely, as it seemingly provides automatic notifications if my domain or IP becomes blocked or is on a spam list. So far so good.

However, what you mentioned about outbound emails being blocked by others is a long-term worry of mine which is why my initial plan was to monitor for ~6-12mo before making the move. Hopefully my IP subnet at #hetzner doesn't get blocked either down the road (second worry).

Für Familienfotos musste eine Lösung her. Selbst gehosted, Zugangsbeschränkungen, Open Source, tolle Features, ohne zu viel Schnickschnack schnell Bilder bereit stellen, rreine gute App rundet das alles ab. #piwigo Wollte ich erst mal ausprobieren, die Installation und die Nutzung sind aber so toll, dass ich gleich dabei bleibe. Per #myvesta Panel auf meinem #hetzner Server bereitgestellt.
Von Idee über Recherche bis zur Umsetzung unter 10 Minuten.

Problem solved! #hetzner answered me that I shouldn't use a vpn, or proxy when creating the account. I indeed use a tunneled IPv6 connection, so I turned it off and the registration worked.

So either they indeed block my IPv6 subnet when creating a new account, or they flipped a switch somewhere.

For the record, I got the response after ~a day (on Saturday!), not bad.

My trust in them was restored. :)

Rappel : #Hetzner propose des espaces de stockage qui commencent à 3,81€/mois pour 1Tio d'espace.
Pour ceux qui peuvent se permettre cette dépense, ça veut dire qu'il n'y a aucune excuse pour ne pas faire des sauvegardes de son ou ses ordinateurs !
