#Logic_Theorist is a computer program written in 1956 by Allen Newell, Herbert A. Simon, and Cliff Shaw. It was the first program deliberately engineered to perform automated reasoning, and has been described as the first artificial intelligence program.
Logic Theorist proved 38 of the first 52 theorems in chapter two of Whitehead and Russell’s Principia Mathematica, and found new and shorter proofs for some of them.

@VaughnVernon I need to have a conversation with you about heuristics. Biased shortcuts is only one definition ( of some psychologists). Every action or value we take is biased. But if we can "get outside of our ruts" (which can be hard to do) we can learn new things. Heuristics, according to Billy Vaughn Koen are things we try to make forward progress, but in the end are unjustified and not guaranteed to work. If they fail, we try another heuristic. Facts? I am not sure that is so much what you mean as empirical evidence. #heuristics

There are many means to reach a goal. If you focus on just one of the means, you may eventually act against your primary goal.
