@zen #hexandccounter #boardgames don’t always work well in TTS. Especially those with tall stacks. Vassal is a better choice for those. Even so there are things the module creator can do to make them function better, and use the features of TTS to an advantage. When teaching folks how to use TTS and Vassal (for #TheWargameBootcamp ) folks pick up TTS quicker despite the quirky interface. Area based game can shine in TTS with a few tweaks.

There was a discussion about great boardgames and while it wasn't focused on hex-and-counter titles I did mention two.

What I did forget to mention was the Battalion Combat Series from MMP. Perhaps the most revolutionary title in come into the field since ASL.
