Spent the evening playing through S4 of ASLSK1. A good fight. I made some idiotic setup choices with the Americans, who definitely suffered worse by dice gods, and the Germans *only just* pushed through. So mplany broken units that if the last leader hadn't got off the board on this turn, I doubt any of them ever would have made it.

Fun times, scenario 5 is up next!

Loving some Advanced Squad Leader tonight. Playing S2 of the starter kit, rules are making sense in my head more each game.

Buying a perspex sheet and some dry wipe markers really helps keep deployments and objectives straight in my head, best £10 I've spent!

The Russians are getting thoroughly trounced though, let's hope for a lucky roll to bring in the reinforcements!

Thinking about adapting my game panzer strider to a simple #HexAndCounter spinoff with a more realistic #Mecha but kinda like a micro #Wargame like #Ogre or norse gods.

It's a fairly simple system and it is already designed so it would just need me to design a map and counters.

Not sure just daydreaming because I cant sleep and am taking a break from writing.

The last micro rpg I worked on I loved the setting but dont have a active game group so couldn't test anything so put it on pause.

I've made it possible to add an online game, but my journey into adding multiplayer is just beginning as I realize how much of my code I have to change.

Not sure why I do this to myself. I had no intention of coding multi-player into the game until it was released for solo play. Yet here I am looking at all multi-play possibilities and tinkering. I still might release as solo-only but figured I should at least investigate.

Another advantage in working digital. I can now set the computer to play itself as many games I want to test and spit out the results.

Obviously no substitute for playtesting but makes it so much easier to assess a scenario's army strengths and balance.
