What a coincidence to come upon this post precisely while working on a #HexKit and #Inkarnate map for a #WestMarches campaign taking place in a recently melted glacial valley. This is almost perfectly what I was envisioning.

Thank you for sharing this, the entire portfolio album is absolutely breathtaking.

I made another version of this #hex #map for 8- or 6-mile hexes for those who like the #hexcrawl games. Probably also just for my personal use, because I'd really like to try out the Melancholies and Mirth Set of Wilderness Exploration Procedures http://melancholiesandmirth.blogspot.com/2018/12/a-set-of-unified-wilderness-travel.html
I made this map also with #HexKit, which is a fantastically beautiful program.

#HexKit is pretty great. I figured I would mess around with it by making a 3 #hex map in the style of Chgowiz. This one is nearly all forest, except for a swamp (which is still kind of a forest, just wet) and a spoopy hill with an old ruin on it. Haven't figured out exactly why the hill is the only hex without much vegetation, but I'm sure that's the hook for this 3 hexes #map. Maybe I'll post about this again when it's developed.
