I was studying #LucieByron’s style from her book Thieves last night. I love her combo of a minimal #ColorPalette with #Manga-influenced #Halftones and patterns.
My favored tones for ages have been #TrueGritTextureSupply’s #BeatTones as I prefer roughness & texture. But I don’t think it works as well in this case (even with the figures being sketched).

Just finished #HeyLuchie’s Thieves & proclaim it a #masterclass in #comics 😤
I can’t believe it’s her first #GraphicNovel because her mastery of the craft is just 🤌🏽
Now I want to draw & color like her, this #book is a MUST OWN.
