My #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav game wasn't able to get all the players to resume on 17 June 2023 as I initially proposed, so I suggested 15 July 2023 instead. The player available on 17 June is not available on 15 July, so now I'm waiting to hear back on 29 July 2023.

I want everybody to be there for the first session after our #hiatus because we ended mid-combat.

In the meantime, I need to finish prepping miniatures and stat blocks for what is coming.

Well, I heard from some of my players about resuming my in-person #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav game on Saturday, 17 June.

Two of four will be out of town that weekend. My new proposal for the game resuming is Saturday, 15 July 2023. I want them all to be there when we resume since it's been a very long #hiatus (3.5 years, since December 2019) and we ended last session mid-combat.

I'm waiting to hear back from the players for this new proposal now.

New research on a #router campaign we are calling #Hiatus that we suspect has been active for years, as we recently discovered variant 1.5 of the #malware.

This campaign consists of two modules. The first is a variant of #TCPDump designed to passively collect email traffic as it transits through the routers. The second module #HiatusRAT, turns the router into a covert relay to #proxy commands and exfil.

Effect of #ENSO on global T anomaly…. Playing with wavelet cross analysis and the latest #NOAA #SST and global #temperature data… While long-term #global T anomaly is associated with increasing #RF (e.g. #GHG etc.), short-term/yearly variation is thought to be dominated by #ENSO and #volcanic #eruptions. The wavelet cross spectrum nicely shows that #ENSO is a key player for modulating global T. Interestingly, every 2nd to 3rd #El-Nino event or so seems to be significantly above normal (13 y peak) and coincides with the warmest years on record (1972/73, 1983, 1998, 2016). After each of these #extreme El-Nino events there was a significant slowing of global #T increase (incl. many #La-Nina years – this also includes the temperature #hiatus period after 1998 and more recently stagnating Ts since 2016).
