#Eurozone #CPI show general easing of #inflationary pressures in January, with #HICP coming at 8.6% after 9.2% in December.
Unfortunately, core #inflation remains sticky, itchy, climbing 0.1% MoM.
Core measure excludes volatile #prices, such as #food and #energy, and are thus closely observed, preferred by #monetarypolicy makers.
Long story short, #monetarytightening in the eurozone will continue unabated.
