Since I'm now waiting for #HiDive to build up a catelog of shows to watch, I signed up with #Crunchyroll to watch a bunch of stuff I have missed. Like #Bocchi_the_Rock

It's alright. I still think the characters in K-On! have more chemistry, though. Also, I can't help but think how much that pink track suit that Bocchi wears all the time must stink. #anime

I cancelled my #HiDive subscription--for now. I need to let it build up content with stuff I want to watch. Right now, it got to the point where I was maybe watching one episode a week, and even then, I end up dropping the show because it was just okay. I might subscribe to #Crunchyroll for a few months and just swap back and forth.

I started watching this #anime called Demon Girl Next Door and it’s extremely cute. It’s on #Hidive.

Apparently #HiDIVE will show subtitles from the start of the episode… but will drop them if you skip forward to later. Given that I watched 40 minutes of the #OshiNoKo OP episode last night and want to go back to it, that’s a problem. :(

Started technically a re-watch of Bodacious Space Pirates on HIDIVE. I saw Ep.1-4 at a special screening at Alamo Drafthouse back in 2013 and bought the Blu-Rays b/c of the funny title but shelved it and didn't circle back. Nice that HIDIVE still has the streaming rights 10 years later, saves me the trouble of digging out my old discs. #HIDIVE #BodaciousSpacePirates #SciFi

A nice thing: #Hidive at least makes it trivial to download the English subtitles—all the valuable IP must be in the audio-visual stream, they're like "🤷 anyone can have these English subtitles".
