@FabledFirblg If you want to go tactical at very high levels, in my experience battles can become quite interesting if you either throw lots of enemies at a party, use, or modify the environment to the adversaries' advantage — even a high level mage will have some difficulties fighting fifty goblins at once unless they all walk into the zone of one huge area spell; and even a strong fighter will be hard pressed to evade a landslide, or lava flows, ... 😆
