I discovered High On Fire early on due to the song Rumours Of War. I want to use the adjective “muscular” here, cause it sounds like some barbarians or something are playing the song.
The lead in track Headhunter is percussion only and again feels like a ton of effort is being poured into the music.
And then it transitions in the much more meditative track Dii.
An amazing triptych.
