I got my computer and its RAID working again. Great!
But:
- Weird problems with sporadic lagging on my #Logitech mouse. Tried different mice and the problem went away.
- Warranty support for both #HighpointTech RAID card and #Corsair RAM has been lacking. Highpoint insists on diagnostics after making it hard to send them. Corsair hasn’t done anything more in 9 days than acknowledge the ticket.
- #Monoprice KVM continues to frustrate with auto-switching to any computer that randomly wakes up.

Keeping score on the RMA progress:
#Corsair has not responded about the DRAM DIMM RMA. They received my request and I have a ticket number in an email from them. However, that number is not found when I look up the status.
#HighPointTech has responded about the RAID card RMA. They asked some pertinent questions. I provided that information and a bit more, since this was a continuation of other support requests. They have my invoices for the related purchases.
After a month of troubleshooting, I seem to have two main problems with my system. I first encountered issues with the RAID, which used a #HighpointTech card and #WesternDigital drives. I started an RMA with Hpt, since the card would no longer detect any drives. (The drives always pass tests with #smartmonctl.) I also discovered errors associated with one #Corsair DRAM DIMM. I started an RMA for that as well.
