@Sunny @luckytran There are a lot of health issues that we can't completely eliminate but that doesn't mean we don't try to lessen the harm from them.

Leaders should be supporting public health policies that lower the risk of infection such as air filtration and mask wearing. At the very least we should not be seeing comments from hospitals saying that patients can't even ask their doctors to wear masks. 🙃

@shellkr @WestCoastChelle one way masking is not as protective as it needs to be, particularly in situations where there are many people who are unmasked, and where there have been no meaningful improvements to air quality. For those of us who are #HighRiskCovid it’s insufficient. Masking in public places, particularly places that people don’t have options to avoid, like medical facilities and grocery stores is the bare minimum of human decency in an ongoing pandemic.

With masks being dropped even in medical settings, we are rapidly descending to a point where #immunocompromised and #HighRiskCovid (people at notably heightened risk of serious illness, death and/or [worsened disability) are not going to be able to go anywhere or participate in any aspect of life that isn’t explicitly planned by one of our number — or for the richest and most elite, who are the only ones still requiring mitigation, e.g. Davos.

How will y'all treat disabled and/or elderly people as the effects of climate change become more severe?

The way you're treating us now during pandemic.

No free #covid RAT tests means NOBODY is testing at all, much less properly.

I'd rather the people who DO care, and understand how to test correctly, who btw, are more likely to be those who can't afford to pay for testing, those #highriskcovid, #disabled #immunocompromized , etc. have access to them so they can take informed action.

This can still go on while the (in my jaded opinion, futile) fight for proper testing, proper reporting, and freaking transparency continues.

Oh friends. What does not being in pain feel like?
I don't fucking know because I'm struggling.
(Lower left abdomen; have an appt; no fever chills gastrointestinal distress or rash; just pain.)
I'm alone with responsibilities so I can't just check myself into the hospital + I'm #HighRiskCovid.
This is day 7/8 of the flare. Heat and massage help some. Pills help lots.
Just deep into: is it #Fibromyalgia or #PCOS or...You know, is it just a flare or is this the end?
I'm exhausted and I hurt.👎🏾😭

I can't even fathom the fear you must be feeling. Add in that every covid infection leaves the body more and more immunocompromised, everyone who gets covid inevitably becomes #HighRiskCovid, many without even realizing it because even asymptomatic cases leave the body damaged.
PH and our governments have let our society and children down. It's unconscionable what's happening right now. I hope L just has a cold. 🤞🏾💗🙏🏾
