@aquarius While there is absolutely no way trans people are living a great, or even a good life in india, there has indeed been queer representation in terms of gender identity in india since forever, but more importantly through the absolutely amazing #hijra community of india, which the religious folks consider "divine" in a condescending manner. They have an incredibly strong commune and are very visible socially.
