So I've had the #HikiApp for a lil bit now and can report it still rules. There are still more men than women/enbies, but I expected that. So far no one has been weird or gross, and everyone I've talked to has been very chill about just kind of dropping in and out of conversation. It feels really amazing to not have to "mask" with total strangers and I didn't realize how much I needed that until I suddenly had it. It's actually been really helpful for practicing social shit in a relaxed and supportive environment. I will admit that I am VERY strict in who I match with, so my so-far-overwhelmingly-positive experience may be due in part to my level of curation.
