I took this pic of a castle in Spangenberg. Spangenberg Castle is a castle above a small town in the Schwalm-Eder district of North Hesse. The originally Gothic complex was first a castle, then a fortress, hunting lodge, prison, forestry school and is now a hotel and restaurant.

I took this pic of a castle on the street in 2017. The Leyen Castle is the only moated castle on the Mosel. The ancestral seat of the Princes von der Leyen was designed into a palace around 1560, restored in 1907 and now houses an exhibition from the state archives.

I took this photo of the famous Eltz Castle. It is considered the "most beautiful castle in Europe", "fairy tale in stone" and "the epitome of a knight's castle". Eltz and the surrounding offers pure Middle Ages, an important treasury, hiking, beautiful nature, leisure and relaxation.

I took this pic in Bad Wildungen in the famous spa park. It shows a „Konzertmuschel“ where artists play music for an audience. The park impresses with its size with an area of 50 hectares and a length of around 7.5 km. It connects the health and well-being town of Bad Wildungen with the Reinhardshausen health center.

I took this pic 2019 at the glider airfield „Der Ring“ in Ziegenhain. A flock of sheep is chilling under a big tree. The airfield is located directly on the eastern outskirts of Schwalmstadt-Ziegenhain in the area of the Schwalm flood retention basin.

I took this pic at the Silbersee in 2019. It shows a floral nature.
The approximately 8.2 hectare body of water was created towards the end of the 1960s when, after about 150 years, open-cast lignite mining in the area was discontinued and the hollow was flooded for the purpose of recultivation.

I took this pic on at Mellnau castle.
The castle was first mentioned in 1263 as Elenhouch. The name "Mellnau" came up for the castle around 1500. Archbishop Siegfried III of Mainz came as the builder. von Eppstein, who had the castle built as a replacement for the destroyed Hollende Castle around 1248 to protect the Wetter Abbey.

I took this pic in 2013. It shows the Rießersee or Rießer See in Bavaria, the hotel at the lake and some beautiful mountains. It is located south of Garmisch at 785 m above sea level in the Wetterstein Mountains. It was artificially created in a forest clearing in the Middle Ages.
