I asked #Bing about my band #Thiccquid. It got it mostly right... but as I asked more, it got kinda weird. I asked Bing who was in the #band and I guess I'm actually a whole family, Thiccquid Sr, Thiccquid Jr, Thiccquid III, and Thiccquid IV?

But when I asked Bing to describe the themes common in Thiccquid songs, it got it spot on! Hilarious and unhinged songs about insecurity, nostalgia, rebellion, and adventure 🤘😁🤘

What is #himborock? It’s guitars. It’s drums. It’s electronic. It’s got a sense of humor. With songs about self confidence, appreciation for women choosing comfort over fashion, easy-going attitudes in the face of overwhelming adversity, it’s just guys being dudes. Unbothered. Moisturized. Happy. In their lane. Focused. Flourishing.

What do I mean by #himborock? A himbo is an attractive man, muscular, with a good heart and not a lot of brains. Think Kronk from Emperors New Groove or Joey from Friends. A nice, hot, kinda dumb guy.

This isn’t #dadrock, this is boyfriend rock. This is music that makes you wonder if you can date a song, and if that song has a brother who is single.

Finally got around to submitting my next #EP to the publisher. Starting on March 31, #Thiccquid will have a new track every other Friday until the full EP comes out mid-May. Officially starting the #HIMBOROCK era and I’m so excited for what this new sound is going to bring!
