The article I wrote today for #Wikipedia Asian Month is closely related to my previous article. This magazine, Tjerita Roman, was another Malay-language literary monthly founded in Surabaya in 1929. It was part of the golden age of Peranakan Chinese literary output in the late colonial Dutch East Indies.
