Betty Boo was a sexy, sassy pop star who also studied sound engineering before her music career took off.
Her style is fun and lighthearted with no pretense of being a hardcore rapper.
Anyone remember the “hip/house” sound? It was like halfway between pop and rap. Up tempo, dance orientated pop and rap with some house influences, plus samples and loops. This is it right here 👇
The singles from this album got played a lot in clubs and at parties. It was really popular at the time.
