I've been thinking about making #lofi music for a while now. I released one for a little game mod, and there are two more sitting in my hard drive collecting dust. The common thing is I enjoyed making all of them, and I think it's starting to become one of my stronger points.

I’m amazed how this show slowly builds up. It doesn’t feel all that episodic. I still want to know how Ageha came to befriend a girl who’s 4 years younger, but I guess with neighbors it’s not implausible. I also just like that Sora learns things… and Mashiro finds a different kind of strength.

I didn’t really notice until I started drawing them myself, but the designs of #HirogaruSkyPrecure all have flat-ish shoes / boots that look like you can actually walk, run and fight in them without magic powers 😳

It'll take a while to get everything written down, but Action #Precure is back! Sora is fantastic, even before transforming. Nice touch when Sora is about to confront the monster, Mashiro grabs her hand to stop her, and notices her hand is shaking. She still stands against a thing that can easily kill her with one hit, and says "I'll do the right thing to the very end." There's quite a fight before she gets the transformation device.
This is shaping up to be one of the best.

Anime first impressions:
So far #HirogaruSkyPrecure looks great!
They started with an episode full of adventure instead of of exposition while still following the usual scheme of a Precure first episode, and that worked really well!
And they definitely put some work into the fights which makes me hopeful that they’ll continue to do that.
I don’t like the villain design, though…
