An #AngloSaxon burial site containing the remains of more than 140 people interred with some of their most favoured objects, including jewellery, knives and even a personal grooming kit, has been discovered by archaeologists working on the HS2 route.

One difference between the 1918 Influenza & COVID19 pandemics is that the earlier pandemic died down due to herd immunity & became much less dangerous, while COVID keeps re-infecting people & causing severe illness & death.

What parallels do you see between the pandemics in US history? Nursing shortages, anti-maskers, labor relations, Congress being unable to elect a Speaker...?

It feels like history is rhyming if not repeating.
