Kichurn Castle, almost lost in the scale of the beautiful surroundings (it's on the left).

Fort George, an unexpectedly pleasing space & an excellent place to watch dolphins.

Inchmahome Priory, a delightful ruin on a tiny island on the only lake in Scotland.

Culbin Forest, planted many years after the old estate was subsumed by sand after the dunes were over-harvested.

A marker honoring laborers will be unveiled at China Point Overlook in Napa, California.
