Odd Pittsburgh posted this gem online today and we knew we had to share it.

A colorized photo of the Jackrabbit at @kenny_kangaroo in #Pittsburgh shows just how much things change yet stay the same in older amusement parks.

Those trees are gone today. And the coaster is white. But that walkway is still the main concourse through the park.Jackrabbit.

Big Dipper was a wooden roller coaster located at Playland at the Beach in San Francisco, CA. The coaster was built in-house in 1922, but was forced to close in 1955 when rising repair costs became too much for the park to handle. The ride was demolished.
