Sometimes, I need a break from my checklist of pieces to complete - especially with big shows coming up. I made this necklace because it was fun and easy. It's based loosely on glass bead necklaces that were very popular throughout the Mediterranean world from at least the Archaic period through the Hellenistic, Roman and early Islamic eras.
