I'm definitively not a scholar of #HistoryOfReligion, #ReligiousStudies, or #catholicism so am unsure how to interpret this, an inventory after death reporting that the will of the deceased, a wealthy woman from #Québec in 1886, directed that 800 low masses be said for the souls of herself and her already deceased husband. This seems like an awful lot. What do you say #histodons? @histodons
