This is important for many reasons. Github is owned by #Microsoft, who may become hostile to #bitcoin at anytime, especially given that they seek funding from interest groups with likely opposition to bitcoin.

Microsoft also has at least one #patent pending for a competing #cryptocurrency powered by #humanEnergy, and employs mechanisms to #deanonymise users of #Github.

#Privacy conscious users cannot use Github.
