I totally agree, #hl2 really is a masterpiece, as the whole series. Would be great to see a remake. #blackmesa was a very fun way to play the first #halflife again.

I sometimes forget how old I am and how old #halflife2 is. It's 18 years old at this point, so people in their 20s were babies when it was released. Even today, "We Don't Go To Ravenholm..." doesn't fail to shock and horrify. Watch as a streamer goes silent for a full 4 minutes. His face says it all. #HL2 is still one of the best games ever made. I was late getting into #HL2 too but it has been so long that I think I could replay it in VR now.

There's a 11GB dump of data on canceled games/concepts; mostly images according to a comment. I'm reminded of 2003's #HL2 source leak.

I was in college learning to program. The teacher, bless him, talked about not undercutting others' valuable work. We want to be in their position one day! And he generally warned you never know what software will call home... He did a great job.

On the way out of class we were asking each other who had it so we could share between laptops by crossover cable.
