Sadly @EU_Commission basically allowed #Autodesk to monopolize #Engineering #Software and that made them discontinue #Eagle as #OneTimePurchase and espechally the #NonCommercial #Hobbyist license which was basically the full suite for €125 but restricted to no commercial use.
I still hate myself for not having bought that over a decade ago...

As a #hobbyist; my crew consists of my retired father, my spouse with #LongCovid on the occasions when the #COVID is being kind, and myself. This means we do not move as quickly as the #pro #apiarist, but we get it done. No stings for me, but several honey-coated bees chilled on me to clean up. This gave me a good excuse to just sit and watch them. Tomorrow is hive 3, and extraction.

This makes it clear for when I will have to work around the rules and where most bugs (wishful thinking) will appear.

I've got a busted consumer product here that has 2 #Holtek #microcontrollers in it. Either one would be sufficient to run this product (a brushless-motor tower fan), but #MCUs are cheap, so why not throw a second one in if it saves a few centimeters of wire?
I'm trying to determine if there's a #standard #serial #physical #layer in use here to communicate from one #MCU to the other. It's one-way communication.
