I already posted this photo of the piece of #birch wood with #mushrooms growing out of it on a past #FungiFriday but here's another one with a different orientation. This was taken in #Hofði woods by Lake #Myvatn in North #Iceland. Fun fact: Björk means "birch" in Icelandic.

This is Lake #Myvatn in North #Iceland as seen from the #Hofði loop trail. This was taken on our first visit in May 2013. It was raining most of the time we were here. Went back in late October 2017 and the weather was much better. Not as much snow on the #mountains either.
