I have appreciated the recent focus saying unpaid #genderedlabor is behind all the #holidaymagic.

I've always felt deficient in this area of interior design and creating that holiday spirit that #women are both expected to be interested in and just make happen as well as have special expertise. I suppose it makes me feel deficient in #femininity.

I heard fireworks tonight while washing dishes and looked out the window. Lo and behold, fireworks -- professional quality -- were lighting up the night sky. I called to my husband, and we dashed upstairs for a better view.

People, we were able to watch an entire, beautiful fireworks show WITHOUT LEAVING OUR HOUSE.

No cold, snow, traffic or crowds. Pure holiday magic.🎇
