Hot mulled wine, anyone? With 9 degree temps predicted for Christmas Eve, I'm thinking the outdoor bourbon tasting may need to be switched to an indoor hot mulled wine experience.

Main Christmas dinner with the kids will be a couple of days later this year due to travel plans. I'm following the Paul Bocuse Pot Au Feu recipe (although I confess - it's been slightly Americanized), and this is the first step: roasting the bones and vegetables, then cooking and straining them for the soup stock.
