In an effort to use all parts of the fruit, we used the sugar water left over from making candied oranges to make spiced orange simple syrup by cooking it down with cinnamon, cloves, and star anise! Then used the syrup to make a Spiced Orange Daiquiri (1 part amber rum, 1 part lemon juice, .5 part spiced orange simple syrup)! #cocktails #holidayTreats #food
