Largely overlooked during the heyday of grunge, this Twin Cities outfit resurrected the spirit of Gram Parsons with forlorn lyrics and soaring harmonies. “Waiting for the Sun” tumbles down the highway in an open-top car. “Clouds” and “Sister Cry” cruise the misty mountains. And “Two Angels” strips the mud from an earlier version. Poco without the dross, or the Eagles on less cocaine.
