Our paper "GEAR: Gaze-enabled augmented reality for human activity recognition" was recently published at #ETRA2023 👀
We used a Microsoft #HoloLens2 to recognize human activities based on #EyeTracking data. In our repo (https://github.com/Interactions-HSG/GEAR/tree/main/GEAR-4-HAR), we provide three ML classification solutions, the corresponding scripts incl. Unity app, and datasets. Feel free to use them as teaching material or in developing similar #AR solutions!

IMO, it's a vast improvement against #hololens2 or #MagicLeap at a "lower" price-point.

A great use of #technology for #conservators: the #HoloLens2 is really just a fancy camera on a human but it works really well!
It could also be vital for #training new #conservation professionals. Also imagine this used for virtual courier trips!
I'm tickled by the prospect of adding better lights to the #headset. Collaborating directly with #Microsoft would actually be really cool.
