Over-engineered solution: Periodically run a #ShortcutsApp workflow on the Mac which utilizes #AirBuddy to get the phone's battery level, and control the smart plug that feeds the Qi charger's power brick. (Level == 100%: off, <= 70%: on.) Controlling is done via #Apple #HomeApp.

Die App von Meross erlaubt diverse Einstellungen. Sie ist zwar nicht gerade hübsch, aber funktionell. Pro Tag kann ein Heizplan eingestellt werden, allerdings nur recht fummelig.Egal. Einmal eingestellt, steuere ich das Thermostat eh nur noch über die #HomeApp. #SmartHome

Why is this not already a thing?!? “Currently, you can only manage tvOS updates directly on the Apple TV itself. You can enable automatic updates to streamline things, but this can be hit or miss. Being able to manually start a tvOS update via the Home app would ensure your Apple TV is all set the next time you sit down to watch something.”

Das ist besonders nervig, wenn es im Winter früh dunkel wird. Auch funktioniert das Ein- und Ausschalten über die #HomeApp nicht zuverlässig. Leider kann ich dir nicht sagen woran es liegt, aber seit einigen Wochen schalte ich das Licht oldschool mit dem Lichtschalter an und aus.
