It relies on national rail API which has a nice free quota.

The #Esp32 somfy controller now has a nice box. No 3D printing here but at least better than a bunch of wire sleeping on top of a kitchen cabinet

@smarthomejunkie I kinda regret switching to Eufy products. Since the updates after the security issues with their cameras, the app has become pretty clunky and the integration with #HomeAssisant isn't wonderful.

So what have I been up to over the weekend. Well -

I finally found a use for my #RaspberryPi and the official 7" touch screen. It is now running #WeatherFlowPiConsole. But to save electricity costs, #homeAssisant will send an mqtt command when #Frigate detects a person in the livingroom. Which #NodeRed will intercept and run a script to turn the display on and start the program. 30 minutes after presence was last detected HomeAssistant will send an mqtt message to turn the display off and -

Mqtt ist eingerichtet, ich sehe auch die Pakete im mqtt Explorer, die config-pakete sind auch da und auch manuell konfiguriert tauchen die Sensoren einfach nicht auf. Super weird.

While I do have stuff that I can access via the cloud like Tapo cameras and Govee lights - everything is also fully accessible locally too.

Decided to go spend the day at the caravan. Upgrades and updates complete! Had a swim in the sea and now trying some new cider. #homeassisant upgrades all good and everything stil working! Pretty great for a Monday!

Thats over 1.5GB just to use your Samsung stuff and your doorbell. This is getting silly. This is why I use #homeassisant

My @homeassistant #HomeAssisant "allergy lights" automation is now working properly, thanks to @asjmcguire. Weeee!

And I got my "front door tablet" layout in I think passable shape last night/this morning. I may yet tweak it more (would it be HA if I didn't? 😂 ) but it's good for now. Tomorrow I can find out if my hidden entity cards work as expected!
