I've cooked up a tabletop rule kit of my own earlier this year. It plays OK, but I want to work on it more. Going to work on it out in the open, I think? Here's the repo of the base thing: https://github.com/esmevane/evening
It's a melange of 5E, Cypher, and Blades. The core conceit so far in play has been that games work by picking a "format" for the evening, which is the kind of game you want to play. Gameplay is somewhat on rails after that, with modes and phases of play.

92 followers · 236 posts · Server mazaska.socialKveik yeast mead update. I was out of town for a week. I probably could’ve racked it before I left, but I knew it wouldn’t hurt to wait. Did that today. It’s hazy, but that’s an aspect of the yeast.
SG: 1.111. It’s now 1.000(!). The ABV calculator says it’s 14.57% alcohol. (Though it’s alternate formula says 16.02%).
I’m gonna let it sit for a while before bottling, but it’s drinkable now.
It’s also delicious.

Another small bit of work done for my #pcengine #homebrew: to have sprites of different sizes ready for that fake scaling effect, I needed to have an automated tool or I'd go insane making them ready-to-go for VRAM upload and consumption. The only thing I'm missing right now is proper VRAM sprite alignment (these get a bit convoluted on the PC Engine for hardware sprites bigger than 16x16) but that should be a quick fix. Back to the PCE codebase :D

It is too cold at 1-2°C but the bitterness seems just perfect. This is going to be an easy drinking beer - per the name and the style.

I discovered that I can attach paper labels to my homebrew using a tap of glue stick. I can't believe it took me this long to figure out 🙂. I usually just write a code-name on the cap.
