I #homeeducate my youngest daughter. We've been learning to #sew for the past few weeks, but this evening, we went to the garden and instead made a flower crown with plants and twine. Sadly, the flowers will fade soon, so here's a photo of me wearing our creation. These quiet and simple tasks that connect us to nature are so good for a brain and body reset. A lovely start to the weekend.

I thought I’d kick the year off by reintroducing myself to you all. I’m a 48 year old biology undergraduate and planning a career in marine biology. For the last two years I’ve been obsessed with my local #rockpools but I’ve now switched my main focus to marine #plankton.
