why do so many of my Eve devices not show up in their designated room, or with their name, but some do? The #EveEnergy outlets all identify as the same model 20EBU4101 and firmware 3.2.1, but some have a #Thread Transport layer setting?

#hue is totally worth it. their software can coordinate lighting better than anything you could possibly come up with in homebridge and whackamole. if you have any aspirations of elevating your ambiance and you are not currently a veteran of broadway stage lighting or programming lighting systems for lutron, you are in over your head already.
i'm not happy about it.

Today I did the first (in 7 years) factory reset of my Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner (1st gen). I was afraid of losing the statistics, but surprisingly everything survived. I just had to update the token in #Homebridge to have it back in #HomeKit.

I have #OctoPrint and a #3dPrinter and among other maker projects running and I would like to make sure I am properly tracking Air Quality throughout the house. #VOC #CO2 #PPM , etc... I even saw a Formaldehyde sensor. But it's so very hard to find sensors that work with homekit / thread / matter.

@Verso Aqara U100 is fantastic https://www.aqara.com/us/product/smart-lock-u100/ #homekit support with home key (open with my watch most of he time). Super easy to send guest codes to people. Battery life has been good. Partner likes using the fingerprint sensor.

77 followers · 375 posts · Server me.dm@brndnsh I used the #EvePower power outlet and the power strip. They work ok. You can manually export the data. I haven’t learned a way to automate it via #Homekit or #HomeAssistant / #HomeBridge.
The single outlet obviously gives a single measurement, but so does the whole combined power strip.
The single outlets can connect via #Thread, #Bluetooth, and maybe now #Matter
The power strip can connect via #WiFi so depending on placement you might want the power strip anyways.

Wobei, falls du es nutzt: Hattest du auch Probleme mit der Einbindung in #HomeKit? Das hat mich jedes Mal fast eine Stunde gekostet, weil der Vorgang immer wieder in einen Timeout lief 😐
