Used an old US recipe for eggnog - the type which has several alcohols, no spices, and brews over several days, so the alcohol "cooks" the eggs and milk products. Tastes remarkably like my version of the snowball cocktail. (Snowball: 1 part yellow Advocaat, one part cream, one part lemonade. Maraschino cherry and/or a dash of cherry liqueur, from plain dried cherries soaked in Kirsch, optional.)
