Home wireless upgrade project time! Migrating off of old-school Apple Airport Extremes (x3) to Unifi 802.11ac Pro Access Points (x2) *they’re the slightly older WiFi 5’s. I have the controller running in docker & I’m very impressed with the performance, features and range of these things! Also from not having to use some cloud-based account for the install. Did some framing in my basement today; tried out my new Milwaukee framing nailer. This thing KICKS ASS. I’ve done everything you see here with less than a single charge on one battery. Compare this to the energy used by a pneumatic air nailer - it’s probably 1/100th the electricity of running an air compressor. #Building #Construction #HomeProject #DIY #PowerTools

Just as we are asked now to rate every experience (How was your delivery? Your oil change? IT help?), everything household is a design project now. Tomorrow someone's going to "work with" me for 60-90 minutes to "design" a casement window I need replaced. Design? Just put one in there like the one that's rotted out, Mac. There is no designing to be done, good heavens.
