Something different today. My OWN contributions to the creative world!

So I've mentioned a... few times, that I'm both a streamer and a #voiceactor of not-much-success.
But "not much" doesn't mean zero! I'm still trying hard! And I've definitely shown some results over the years.

Some more notable roles I've had over the years are:
-JOHN EGBERT in Voxus' Let's Read #Homestuck (specifically from 2018 onwards).

-ELIM DORELGA and YINGLET BANDITS 1&2 in the creator-endorsed Out-Of-Placers Fandub (sadly cancelled after two eps, the second of which still hasn't come out but there's a preview video that has the #Yinglet voices in it).

-COSMIC, a blink-and-you-miss-it role in the furry VN Winds of Change on Steam/Nintendo Switch.

I'll spare the nitty gritty of how I started pursuing #voiceacting, it's a very long story going all the way back to the mid-2000s, even if I didn't start working on it until about 7 years ago.

Right now I'm in a bit of a transitional period with my work. I'm focusing on mostly corporate auditions via Voices.com (lots of internal videos, local organizations, etc. not a ton of video games or more public productions) while still doing any public auditions I can.
I also occasionally try to be donation host for charity events, such as Awesome Games Done Quick and Fastest Furs (hosted at #AGDQ Online 2021 and Live At FWA'23, respectively).

In terms of what's next for me, I need new equipment and a ~demo reel~. I've been seriously dragging my ass on that because I'm still not sure if I'm ready. A bad demo reel can ruin a career. Not having one shuts me out of a lot of opportunities but it's better than having a terrible one. So I need to look into it more.

Das merkwürdigste Spiel, das ich gespielt habe, war sicherlich "World of Homestuck", eine Homestuck Kampagne basierend auf WoD Regeln. Es gab bestimmt über 30 Spieler, niemand wusste es genau.

Highlights waren, dass ein NPC meinem Charakter mit einem Würfelpool von 50+ Würfeln einen Arm abgetrennt hat, weil der ihn zu sehr geärgert hat, woraufhin er fast verblutet wäre. Kurz danach hat mein Charakter ein Kostüm angezogen und wurde zu einem Magical Girl.

Was talking about #Homestuck the other night, and Lonnie brought up a great/horrible hiding-in-plain-sight joke:

The kids from Universe A are called Heroes (Hero of breath, Hero of Time, etc.). The kids from Universe B are called Nobles (Noble of Life, Noble of Hope, etc.).

All four of the Universe B kids have their individual worlds composed of a different noble gas.

Noble gasses, by definition, cannot be combined.

By the end of the story, none of the Universe B kids are really friends anymore.

Because the Nobles cannot combine.

I hate/love Homestuck.

Also in the (weirdly meta- ) Homestuck comic where characters store their personal inventory in "Sylladex" systems and need "Fetch Modi" to retrieve them.

So, if one is using one of the simplest, the FIFO (first in, first out) fetch modus, then they have to take in a new piece of inventory to get the oldest piece out.

Mein erster GM war mein Bruder, allerdings nur für eine Session. Einige Jahre danach bin ich durch Online #Homestuck RP wieder mit dem Hobby in Berührung gekommen. Das waren eher kurzlebige Spiele und zu großen Teilen GM-los, daher klammere ich sie mal aus.

Der erste GM, mit dem ich länger zu tun hatte, war ein netter Typ, den ich über besagtes Homestuck RP kennengelernt habe. Der hat dann eine textbasierte Runde #WH40K #RogueTrader mit variablem Spielerpool angeboten.

Ahh, loving this series.
It's like a radio drama / rewrite of the story up through Act 3 so far.

It's probably best enjoyed after reading Homestuck proper but I won't stop you.
