I decided to do a comfort re-watch of the #kdrama #HometownChaChaCha and it is still good. But episode 11 is annoying. Trying to hide something from people and getting pretend violent to hide it is annoying at best. And the cutesy voice that Hye-jin uses with Du-sik grates on me.......

#HometownChaChaCha was enjoyable K-drama. Made me want to eat seafood, and I'm a vegetarian. But the last episode they had a ridiculous product placement for Dominos. Most food critical guys order it, and act to really enjoy it. Just such a pity.

Apart from that, enjoyable show, except it could have been a lot less along traditional gender roles.

@bougiewonderland The product placement in Kdramas is hilarious. I don't think subtlety is a strength on that front 🤣.I think the whole village survived on caffeine tablets in hometown cha cha cha...

Encouraged by my daughter, I'm getting a tiny bit obsessed with #KDrama. We started #HometownChaChaCha for the third time last night. SO good. Also loved #CrashLandingOnYou and I've almost finished #Vincenzo. I really hope I get to go to #SouthKorea with work next year. There's a small chance it could happen.
