While #socialism is the recognized alternative to #capitalism. there is nothing inherent in socialism that would serve to protect the natural world. Socialism is just as #homocentric as #capitalism. What is need is an #ecocentric economy that embraces the interests of all life, and the equal needs of all species for access to #habitat and #resources.
