　オーストラリア大陸先住民が共有している の論理構造を象徴的に言いあらわした〈 〉という概念は、端的にいえば「わたしたちヒトの生は、大地の見ている夢である」という内容だとされているが、これを先端 の知見をふまえて読みなおしてみるなら、微生物主観、 や の側からみた僕たちヒトの営みの光景であると言えるだろう。
　僕たちヒトのからだを生きていくために機能させている細胞の約90％は微生物やウイルスのもので、 の比率で言えば約95％が細菌由来のものであるとも云う（研究者によってこの比率はまちまち）。ヒトを含む多細胞生物の祖先は元を辿れば細菌と であるという理論もあり、彼らの側から見れば僕たちヒトのからだは彼らの一部、あるいは仮想的な国家のようなものであると感じられるのだと思う。
　当然これは彼らから見た世界の有り様であり、僕たちは彼らの夢ではなくたしかに存在している。
