I go to the kiosk in a local shopping center to fill up bottled water. The orange Element is often parked there. I figured it was somebody who works at the nearby hardware store. (It is.)

Today I got to meet the owner of the orange Element! He was really cool! We chatted briefly and I gave him a stuffed toy crab keychain. (It’s an #Element thing.)

There were FOUR E’s in this lot at the same time. 😍

Every once in a while, I'll spot one of these silver #HondaElement SC’s. They always somehow look brand new, to the point I was wondering if there was some factory in Mexico that was still cranking them out or something.

Wow, definitely wasn't expecting so many #hondaelement fans in my sphere here on masto. 108k... sigh... They really are phenomenal for both outdoor adventures and urban functions. (except towing)

Fuck cars and all, but I would wet myself if Honda ever announced a new electric Element.

Through a weird confluence of events, I’ll be heading out on a solo jaunt through western #Washington state, largely focused on the #OlympicPeninsula. I haven’t gone on a solo trip in a very long time, but I used to do some solo #BikeTouring (the cool kids call it #BikePacking now, I hear, or maybe that specifically applies to off-road stuff?) in the #PacNW, sometimes in the winter even. I’ll be in my in my #HondaElement instead this time. I built a #DIY #MicroCamper in the back.

This is real live gold country, some places one can't take a step without putting a foot on quartz. Also bullet casings, lots of those as well. Both the gold and the casings have avid miners regularly mining them.

Off Meta for the month of Dec (if not longer) and missing my #honda groups, so I guess I’ll share my #hondaelement ‘s new shoes here.

What a thing, finally deciding on and mounting new tires! Not cheap! But they are the correct size for this car and will get me though winter safely. Chestnuts paid for these. Yes. Chestnuts. The real deal!
