The calm before the storm. Soon a plane full of vets will arrive, exhausted and excited from what was surely a memorable adventure. A few times a year I volunteer as an event photographer for Puget Sound Honor Flight. They, in partnership with #alaskaairlines, send WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War vets, at no cost to them, to DC to see the monuments built in their honor. Today I’m helping document their, “WELCOME HOME”. 🫡🇺🇸
