* worry about how the crisis affects them and theirs; or
* worry about how the crisis affects everyone.
Again, the people in the last category are a minority so it's difficult for them to drive a response that helps and protects all the people who need it.
I'm not sure where I'm going with these #musings except perhaps to explain why I'm pretty #hopeless about #humanity's future. 3/3

For anyone suffering from mental illness and feeling #hopeless and #desperate, I can recommend the #book The way of rest, by Jeff Foster. (Also available in Dutch, De weg van rust). It's in no way another depression self help book. It's far from that. I find it hard to describe what kind of book it is. I just know that when I was very very very severely depressed, this book managed to give me feelings of comfort, reassurance and soothing. @depression #depression #mentalhealth
